Paolo Cuculi was born in Rome on June 1st, 1967; he is married and has two daughters. He obtained a Master's Degree in Political Science at «LUISS» University of Rome.
A diplomat at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He entered the Italian diplomatic service in 1992, working in the Directorate-General for Personnel. in 1994, he was appointed Second Secretary for Trade in Khartoum, and in 1997 he moved to the Embassy in Bangkok as First Secretary. In July 2000, he was appointed First Secretary at the Italian Mission to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva.
After returning to the Ministry in 2002, he served in the Directorate-General for Political, Multilateral and Human Rights Affairs. Starting from 2006, he has been the First Counsellor at the Mission to the United Nations in New York, during Italy's two-year term as a Member of the UN Security Council. Since 2010 he served first as Frist Counsellor, then as Minister Plenipotentiary, at the Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, during Italy's three-year term as Member of the UN Human Rights Council.
Back in Rome in 2015, he served at the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation, of which he became Deputy Director-General and Central Director for Programming and Implementation of Cooperation Initiatives.
Since April 15, 2019, he is Ambassador of Italy in Pretoria.

Kadri Nassiep is the Executive Director of Energy at the City of Cape Town. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has 25years of experience in the Energy sector. He has played a key role in coordinating energy research in the country to advocate for a greater share of cleaner energy in our energy mix.
During his career, he has been responsible for the development of policy, strategy, legislation, and regulations supporting the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy. He was the CEO of the South African National Energy Development Institute and has held several senior management roles in National Government and Eskom.
He has also held several advisory positions, both locally and internationally, including representing South Africa at the International Energy Agency’s Committee on Energy Research and Technologies, as well as the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21)
Antonio Passero is Program Manager for the Sub Saharan Region in RES4Africa foundation, where he promotes policy dialogue and advisory services on what it takes to enable renewable energy
investments in a JUST and sustainable way.
Over the last 7 years, Antonio has been working on technical, economic, policy, and social dimensions of the energy transition, from a business perspective. The current focus of Antonio’s activity is on measuring the socio-economic implications of transition roadmaps/scenarios, and on exploring the requirements for the structures needed to enable and support the transition.
Chris Yelland obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Natal in 1976 and was the founder and managing director at EE Publishers (Pty) Ltd, the publisher of EngineerIT, Energize, Vector, and PositionIT magazines.
After the closure of EE Publishers on 29 November 2019, Chris started a new company, EE Business Intelligence (Pty) Ltd, to focus on important strategic issues facing the electricity, energy and ICT sectors in South Africa and the region. In February 2020, Chris was appointed associate consultant for leading financial services and capital markets research group, Intellidex, and energy advisor to OUTA (Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse).
Chris was the winner of the 2002 South African Bureau of Standards Media Award for “exceptional contribution to increasing the awareness of standardization and related issues through the media”. In 2003, he won a merit award in the Energy category of the 2003 Siemens Profile Awards, “recognizing journalistic contribution to excellence in the field of science and technology”. At the 2004 ABB Excellence in Technology Reporting Awards, Chris received the ABB Technology Journalist of the Year Award for 2004.
In 2009, Chris won the South African National Energy Association (SANEA) Journalism Award for “special efforts within the field of journalism to promote greater understanding of energy and its role in sustaining human endeavours”.
In 2018, Chris was awarded the prestigious South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) President’s Award for “in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the South African electrical engineering industry”. Chris is a fellow of the SAIEE, a senior member of the IEEE (USA), and a member of the IET (UK). He is also a registered Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council in the UK.
William Price has been the Country Manager of Enel Green Power South Africa since July 2016. He began his career in the Nuclear Power field and his experience spans over 35 years in the electrical power industry.
Mr Price’s career in the power industry is consolidated by his involvement in all aspects of the project lifecycle, namely business development, operations, maintenance, engineering and construction. He is well-known in the geothermal industry as the pioneer of geothermal submersible pump technology, advancements in binary technology and hybrid applications. He has managed the execution of geothermal, wind, hydroelectric, solar thermal and photovoltaic electrical generation projects that total more than 2000 MW’s.
Mr Price joined the Enel Group in 2007, holding several top executive positions as the Vice President of Engineering and Construction in EGP North America and as Project Team Leader in North America and Central America. He currently serves on several boards for the group in its operations in Africa, he is passionate about people development and the transfer of knowledge. Through his leadership he has made significant strides in developing local skills and extending South African talent to EGP’s new markets like Zambia.
As Country Manager, Mr Price’s leadership was critical in reaching financial close for Round 4 projects, the biggest Renewables Project transaction in Africa, financed by South Africa’s top lenders on five awarded wind projects in the South African government’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP). He has also played a pivotal role in supporting the Group’s expansion into new markets like Zambia, Ethiopia, to name a few.
Graduated in 1996 at the University of Rome La Sapienza, MSc Economics London School of Economics 1998, Mr. Dal Magro is currently Head of Development Financing in CDP.
Previously Mr. Dal Magro was in SACE as Head of Underwriting for Heavy Industries and, prior to this, Head of Renewables & Infrastructures.
Prior to joining SACE Mr. Dal Magro was Senior Strategist at ENI Gas&Power Division.
His previous working experience encompasses TXU Europe Energy Trading (Geneva, Milan, Rome) as Business Development Manager as well as MCC Mediocredito Centrale (Rome, Italy) as a Senior Analyst.
